Laura Turner has written more than twenty adaptations of classic novels and folk stories for Chapterhouse Theatre Company, and her adaptation of Jane Eyre for Hull Truck Theatre toured the UK in 2013. She is a graduate of the Royal Court Young Writers’ Programme and was long-listed for the Bruntwood Prize for Playwriting in 2013. Other theatre includes BOO! (Hull Truck), Operation 25 (Middle Child), Don Jon (Silent Uproar) and Peregrine (The Ashton Group). For television Laura has written for EastEnders: E20. She is currently developing an original stage play supported by the Kevin Spacey Foundation.
