13 the Musical

Bradford Youth Players (BYP) Act 2 Group present 13 the Musical by Jason Robert Brown.

The show focuses on Evan, a Jewish 12-year-old who is ripped away from his New York lifestyle when his parents split up, and finds himself in the middle of nowhere – Appleton, Indiana. His bar mitzvah is coming up – the Jewish Superbowl as he calls it – and he sets about trying to get ‘in’ with the cool kids, particularly the star football player, Brett, so that his bar mitzvah goes off with a bang. ’13’ is a light-hearted, fun-filled show all about growing up, friendships and ‘the labels that last a lifetime’, and there are some catchy tunes in there to boot.

Performances are on Wednesday 19 to Friday 21 July 2017, 7.30pm, at the Bradford Playhouse (4 Chapel Street, Bradford, BD1 5DL).

Tickets are £10 for adults, £8 for concessions and £5 for students and under 18s, and can be booked as follows:

Please note that there is no car park at the Bradford Playhouse, but there is on-street parking on Chapel Street and surrounding roads, and car parks close by.
